Research for
Heat Exchangers
A new class of
heat Exchangers
MoBi-Core heat exchangers use additive manufacturing to create monolithic parts (one piece) with a bicontinuous core (two independent flow paths). Repeated three-dimensional unit cells produce a highly manufacturable core with a high heat transfer surface area.
MoBi-Group provides exclusive access to the tools, data, and expertise needed to simplify and accelerate adoption of MoBi-Coreā¢ technology in your products.
How does MoBi-Group work?
1
Each year, members elect a technical board to guide the research.
3
The technical board designs a research program to meet the priorities.
5
The technical board reviews the results before they are shared with all members.
2
The technical board sets the research priorities for the year.
4
Staff carries out the research program, preparing results, publications, and tools.
6
Once approved, data, findings, and tools are shared with the full membership.
MoBi-Group is a membership-based organization where companies join to access research on MoBi-Core heat exchanger technology.
Annual membership dues fund the research program, and members get a say in what projects we focus on by voting for a technical board.
In return, they receive research results and the ability to use MoBi-Group patented technology for their own R&D.
